A lot of missing Nannas this week meant what felt like a lot of running, luckily a few fill ins including myself were enough to half get the job done with a 4-4 draw. I was told on the day of the game we were playing with no goalie, or even back up goalie, and honestly I thought for sure we were letting in double digits, but Wal and Cocky pulled through surprisingly so hats off to them.

I scored a couple lucky ones where the defence seemed to part to let me through, Sol had a great fill in match and kicked one and Tao got on the scoreboard too. From memory we were down most of the game until the last 5 minutes where we snuck ahead, unfortunately it wasn’t enough in the end and the other team tied it up, I think by then most of us had ran out of legs. Both teams put up a good fight and the match had I nice intensity to it, I think the ref might’ve had the worst performance with a few too many inconsistent calls for my liking, would’ve liked to see the body cam for a few of them.

Overall a well fought draw for a Nannas team down a few people, and as I’ve been told a draw is a win?
